Splitwiser started from a familiar problem: a group chat full of "I'll pay you back" and nobody quite sure who actually owed who. We built the tool we wished existed.
Why we built this
Whether it's rent with roommates, a group trip, or the everyday bills of living with a partner, shared expenses have a way of turning into either a spreadsheet nobody updates or a running mental tally that's never quite fair. Splitwiser exists to replace both with something that just works: add a cost, split it however makes sense, and always know the real balance.
We're a small team building this in the open during our beta. If something feels unnecessarily complicated, that's a bug we want to fix, not a feature you need to work around.
What we care about
Fewer taps, less friction
Adding an expense should take five seconds, not a five-step form. We cut everything that gets in the way.
No paywalled essentials
Splitting a bill and seeing a balance are basic needs. Those stay free. Always.
Clarity over cleverness
A balance you can't understand at a glance isn't useful. We keep the numbers plain and honest.
